The 'M' Factor

I think it’s great if we can laugh at ourselves every once and a while.…unless you’re this guy. He says, “I’ve got the M”. And he can have it – the song, that is.

Male-Pattern-Baldness

Hopefully the guy in this music video has loads of humility. Otherwise its way too bad.
What’s your letter and your tune?

A Perspective on Patterns

Man_With_Coffee

GQ’s “Male-Pattern Baldness Hall of Fame” revels in past heroes that flaunted their receding hairline. It bares a few details on how the shaved-head look has become so popular and why the grown-up male hairline should be brought back. Writers Mike Albo and Andrew Richdale call it “an appeal to the brave”. You can wear your “Friar Tuck” hairline with pride.

But why stop there? In fact, the real question might be, why does hair loss stop at the ring around your head? The people at Bosley have taken an in-depth look at male pattern baldness, the cause of this pattern and more importantly, how it can be changed. The Bosley site hosts an archive of hair loss solutions. Explore the before and after stories that captures the reality of a full and natural head of hair vs. the power donut look. Because not everyone wants to look like a monk or a donut.

Light-years Ahead Star Trek

In light of yesterday’s release of the new Star Trek, I’d like to honor the accomplished actor – and past Starfleet Commander – Patrick Stewart. I found this great clip of Michael Parkinson interviewing Patrick Stewart on the famous BBC talk show “Parkinson”. In the interview, Stewart divulges some of his feelings about male pattern baldness, and how it has affected him personally as well as professionally.

The video begins with Stewart, and Parkinson laughing about the early days of Star Trek’s “The Next Generation.” It seems that Stewart’s baldness became subject early on. While at a press conference, a reporter argued that, “…surely by the 24th century they will have found a cure for male patter baldness.” Among the laughter and the stories, Stewart reminds us of the social stigma associated with male pattern baldness.

Since Stewart’s video promotes the idea that baldness is something we will eventually overcome, the people at Bosley have taken one giant leap for mankind. The people at Bosley have provided us with a medically sound approach to overcoming male pattern baldness. Feel free to explore my hair restoration journey – experience it with me. There’s no need to wait for the 24th century, in a sense, Bosley have already moved light-years ahead.

Funny Bald Stuff: Homer Simpson, untooned

Ever wonder what your favorite cartoon character would look like if they were real? Well, someone at pixeloo.blogspot.com did something about that. Of course, given the nature of our blog, we went ahead and chose a relevant example to share - here's one of the most famous bald cartoon characters around: the real Homer Simpson.

Funny Bald Stuff

Like we said before, hair restoration isn't for everyone. Some people just need to learn how to embrace their baldness and go with the flow — like this guy.

Funny Bald Stuff

Thursday's a good day. You're finally more than halfway done with the work week, rumors of awesome weekend plans are floating about the office, and it's biologically impossible for hair to fall out on Thursdays. At least, that's what we heard. Okay, so that's a lie. But this isn't — beginning today, we will post "Funny Bald Stuff" (we call it that for lack of a better phrase to get our point across). It is what it is. It's funny stuff pertaining to hair loss. It's good to take life (and hair loss) a little less seriously sometimes. Plus, laughter is good, and if some "experts" can claim that rubbing olive oil all over your head can cure hair loss, than laughter surely will (seriously, read this post for some context on the olive oil bit). Of course, don't quote us on that.

And for the inaugural edition of Funny Bald Stuff, a comic we found floating around the web:

Baldfull
Oh, and we're not really sure why the comic below is funny. Is it supposed to be?
