Thicker Eye Lashes, Thicker Hair?

Want to have something in common with Brooke Shields? Latisse, a prescription drug used for helping to grow thick, luscious eyelashes (and whose commercials feature Ms. Shields herself) may help hair growth on the scalp as well.

While this drug isn’t approved for treatment of hair loss, initial test cases have shown that topical applications of the drug have produced noticeable results on patients’ thinning heads. In fact, one doctor in Florida who prescribes the treatment has seen impressive hair growth in 70% of the men who have tried it. Clinical trials are expected to start soon, with the hope of FDA approval not far behind. But in the meantime, you can learn more about this potential new weapon in the battle against bald here: http://abcnews.go.com/Health/w_MindBodyNews/latisse-eyelash-enhancer-thickens-thinning-hair/story?id=13536165

yes, i agree men are more prone to baldness and some reasons for these are stress in work. But my father who is also bald doesn't even care about his hair.

hair loss solutions

Awareness of hair loss problems in men is as high as it can get, indeed, there are commercials all over the place. Did you ever see that one in which the “solution” was to actually spray a cover-up to make the hair look thicker? Certainly seems that most, if not all, of the media coverage addresses hair loss problems for men. This is a problem because women suffer from hair loss too. You may be surprised to know that women experience hair loss in equal, if not greater, numbers than men. In this article, we’ll talk more about this issue and give just some of the reasons for it.
