New test tells women how to handle their hair loss
HairDX, a genetics company that focuses on the study of hair loss (that we wrote about a few times back in 2008) is making headlines again in the hair loss world. This time, the focus is women's hair loss and determining how to best treat it.
An article from ModernMedicine.com describes a new genetic screening test for women who suffer from or are at risk for androgenetic alopecia. The test determines whether or not antiandrogen therapies would be affective for treating the condition, saving patients energy and money.
