My choice to consider, research, and select a hair restoration provider and physician, and ultimately proceed with a procedure, was based mainly on one principle – to invest in myself. I think it was the bible that coined the phrase "your body is your temple," and to live by this principle I believe is perhaps the wisest choice any person can make. Hair restoration obviously allows one to invest in your image, which in turn allows one to invest in your general mental well-being and health.  Over the long haul, by being comfortable and confident with the way I look, my mental state of mind must be enhanced. Undoubtedly the thing which I most look forward to is never having to think about my hairline or density again and feel a sense of negative feelings. Over the years, as my hairline receded and the density thinned, looking in the mirror and brushing or styling my hair or showering and washing my hair filled me with a slew of feelings – all negative, generally. Some of these feelings included a sense of feeling in my early thirties of getting old before my time, a sense of irritation at not being able to style my hair as I always have and wanted to continue doing, an ever growing sense of declining confidence in my image, a sense of unease knowing that my hair-loss would continue for years to come. As an outcome, returning my hair to my previous state before hair-loss begun will obviously improve my image. In my professional and personal life, images are of course important. I think most important for me is being able to re-enhance my personal image, which will boost my personal self confidence, which I feel is important especially when meeting and interacting with new people in my professional life. In my personal relationships, improved self confidence will surely be a positive influence.
