A Teen with Alopecia Tries to Make a Difference
A teen from Jackson County, Illinois who suffers from alopecia has become an inspiration to others with the disease.
After Ashley Crain met many alopecia sufferers like herself at last summer's National Alopecia Conference in Kentucky, she chose to try to help those in need instead of worrying about herself. She has been working hard trying to pass a bill that mandate health insurance covers those with alopecia - and that includes giving a yearly wig to those who cannot afford one.
