Actually, that's not really true. But, actor Russel Crowe did donate his flowing locks to non-profit organization Locks of Love! The charity gives hairpieces to children who suffer from alopecia. Crowe spent months growing his hair out and adequate amount.
So, the man who plays a stone-cold action hero in all of his movies seems to have a heart. Bravo, Mr. Crowe. Bravo.
