Hair Restoration for Those Who Truly Need it

For Torrance and I, hair restoration is all about curing insecurities, but for some it's about more. We underwent hair restorations for the sole purpose of looking young and handsome again (that's the short story); while others use hair restoration to cover the scars of painful memories. In my opinion, we're truly the lucky ones - unlike stories like that of Blerim Grajcevci's - we lost hair naturally. Blerim is one of many burn victims whom undergo hair restoration procedures to regrow hair lost from oil, steam or flame burns.

Thanks to the International Hair Restoration Society, and their program providing hair restoration to those in need,  burn victims like Blerim Grajcevci's  have hope. The Hair Restoration Society (ISHRS) has already raised more than $100,000
to help people, with certain causes of hair loss, cover the scars of their painful past. That said, the ISHRS isn't the only one to thank. There is a handful of hair restoration surgeons donating hair transplantation procedures to the cause as well.
