Staying Positive about Hair Loss

I've sympathized several times with people battling hair loss as result of treatment for terminal illness. It's unfortunate that people, particularly women, are forced to sacrifice their locks for the sake of their health. Remember the story of Shana Manafort, who is growing confidence through hair restoration? Well here's another inspiring hair loss story, this time about Cindy Wilmoth, a breast cancer patient who said goodbye to her hair after chemotherapy treatments left her head riddled with bald spots. In short, Cindy stayed positive about her disease and found support  from her 19-year-old son who proclaimed that she looked 10 years younger with the shaved head.

  • While you may want more hair on your own head, some studies have shown that the majority of women are not concerned by male pattern baldness. We are curious what men prefer in women's hair.
