Athlete tests positive for hair loss drug
Professional athletes all over the athletic arena are getting themselves into trouble for trying to restore their diminishing hairlines. In a previous entry I blogged about the effects hair loss drugs can wreak on drug test results for performance enhancers. More recently, Stan Lazaridis, a professional soccer player, got himself into the same predicament when he tested positive for the performance enhancer Finasteride, which Lazaridis claims is a result of his hair loss drug prescription. That might be the case for many of these athletes, but the officials of their prospective sports don't seem to care about that much.
