Q: How long can one expect to be out of work for after having a hair transplant?

Once again, keep in mind that the impact of getting a hair transplant varies from patient to patient.

First, I received my Bosley procedure on Wednesday, July 5th and was back at work on Monday, July 10th. To be honest, I figured I would have been back at work by Friday the 7th, but I was still far too exhausted to do anything productive. I wasn't  in pain; rather, my body was just really fatigued and I was still groggy from the medication (I took pain killers for the next 3 days after the procedure).  If I were to do it all over again, I would have the procedure done on a Thursday or Friday so I could be back at work on the following Monday.  I would plan on taking a couple days afterwards to rest and recouperate - although I will say that I've heard of guys going right back to work.
