Samson Syndrome and Hair Loss
A recent study of 1,900 men and women revealed "how hair loss directly affects men's self-worth." In a review of this study, hair loss was identified as the cause of Samson Syndrome amongst the male subjects.
What is Samson Syndrome? It's a mental illness and its symptons include a loss of confidence and self-perception of attractiveness linked directly to male pattern hair loss. For those of you interested in the origin of Samson Syndrome; it is named after the biblical strongman whose godly strength grew weak when his hair was cut off by his lover (oh, that nutty Delilah).
Some people embrace their hair loss by sporting a clean-shaven head. Kudos to folks at Sly Bald Guys. Personally, I feel better knowing that I'll have hair again in the future. Everybody is different. Either way, I have heard of worse things being cut off by lovers.
