84 Days After My Bosley Hair Transplantation
Here are the latest shots of my head. My hair is long right now, and it’s kind of messy in these pictures. From the front, I feel like I’m seeing more hair than I did in the past (although this might have to do with the length). I still notice the baldness in the back - however, there is no hint of the scar from the donor area.
Because I’m relatively young for hair restoration (35), Bosley recommended that I didn’t have follicles transplanted into the “back” area of my balding scalp. Usually, the hair loss in this area is more pronounced as men get into their 40’s – and this is the appropriate time to get transplants in that area. Also, if you are taking Propecia to combat further hair loss, you may see some hair growth in the back.
Also, as I’ve been talking about, lots of new hairs are starting to grow all over my scalp. I think in another month or two, I’ll be able to post some impressive “before and after” shots. And as I understand it, in another 6 months I’ll see the full effect of my Bosley procedure. Seeing the hair grow in is very exciting, so I’m looking forward to seeing it as it gets longer and fuller.
For now, I need to get a haircut!
