62 Days After Bosley Hair Restoration Procedure

I thought I would check in with Bosley, just to see if I was on track with everything. I mentioned in previous posts about my break outs – and how they are an indication that the hair is starting to grow in. I’ve also pointed out how tiny hairs are starting to show on my scalp.

Well, as it turns out, I’m a bit ahead of schedule! I actually spent some time talking with Anthony Diemont, the Bosley rep here in Portland (the same guy I met for my initial consultation). He said that most guys don’t start seeing hair until the 3 month mark (which I actually knew about). He said that for most guys, they really notice a difference at 6 months – but it’s common at that point to ask “Is this it?” The answer is “No, that’s not it,” and the turning point usually comes at around the 9 month mark. Anthony said at 9 months, most men can really start to see how their hair restoration is taking shape – and can make a call at that point as to whether or not they want to have a second procedure.

The jury’s still out for me – I can’t wait to see how the first restoration takes hold, then I can make the call on a second procedure. For now, I have to ask everyone to hang in there with me as the hair fills in. 6 months from now it should be very exciting!
