Day 29 After Hair Restoration Procedure

So what’s going on with the hair?  Basically, there hasn’t been a lot happening.  I continue to experience “shock loss,” and I’m finding short hairs all over – on my desk, on my shirt, on the table.  I’m not shedding like a dog in summer, but I’m consistently losing little bits of hair.  I feel like the hair in the front of my head is getting a bit ‘patchy’; it seems about as thin as it was when I started (although I think it’s a little thicker on the top of my head).  There’s still some tenderness on the scalp, and just a tiny bit of tenderness around the suture line.  I feel like I’m in a holding pattern now – it’s all done, everything is doing what it’s supposed to – I just need to have patience and wait for the new hair to start growing in.

It is a little hard to have patience – it’s been a month and I kind of want to see results – but before long I’m told the hair will grow in.  I hope their right!

I have almost-daily pictures posted if you want to check it out.

The Bosley Boot Camp Poll

  • While you may want more hair on your own head, some studies have shown that the majority of women are not concerned by male pattern baldness. We are curious what men prefer in women's hair.
