53 Days After Bosley Hair Restoration Procedure

OK, it’s official – hair is starting to grow on my head.  I feel this way because yesterday my girlfriend looked at my scalp and said “Yup – hair is starting to grow on your head!”

Basically what I have are very small hairs starting to grow, especially around the hairline (you can see them in the picture).  At this stage it’s a bit like beard stubble on my head.  One thing I didn’t think about was the fact that once the hair starts to grow in, you have to wait for it to fully grow.  This seems really obvious now, but of course the hair doesn’t come in fully formed, long and beautiful.  So in addition to waiting for the hair to start growing, you also have to wait for it to grow in all the way.

I’ve also been getting some small breakouts on my scalp – it’s been a little uncomfortable but not too bad.  You can kind of see this in the picture as well.

But the exciting thing is that it’s really growing now.  I don’t think it will be too long before my hair starts to fill in,  Of course, I’ll keep posting blog entries and pictures.  In the meantime, I’m going to start looking through magazines to try and decide what kind of celebrity hairstyle I want to go for.  If you have any suggestions, let me know!
